MOVE WELL CLASSES

Restorative Exercise Classes & Workshops:  In these classes you will learn that “you are how you move”.  Over time your habits of movement, or non-movement, have molded your body into a posture that may be less than perfect.  As a result, this can be adversely affecting your well-being.  Therefore, these classes will help you learn simple alignment techniques, movements, and habit changes that will, over time, improve your health and vitality.

Because space is limited, your spot in class must be reserved.  Call / text me (Jackie) at 315-1726 to let me know when you will be in class.  Classes are held in my studio at Body Renewal & Rejuvenation, 2130 Five Mile Line Road, Penfield.

In this 2-day class learn the basics to proper lower body alignment along with stretching and strengthening of the lower body muscles. These classes are designed to help you learn your joint ranges of motion, help with greater ease of walking, prevent/help: osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, and general lower body and back pain.

In this 2-day class learn the basics to proper upper body alignment along with stretching and strengthening of the upper body muscles. These classes are designed to help you learn your joint ranges of motion, help attain healthy hands, arms, neck, shoulders, and back along with strengthening core muscles.

Every Wednesday, 10:30-11:30 am

Cost: $15 per class or $50 for four classes which expire 6 weeks from first class taken of the four.

Strong, supple muscles lead to a pain-free life!  Each class will focus on a different area of the body to build overall wellness.  Take any number of classes you would like or take them all.

Lower Body Basics and Upper Body Basics are strongly recommended to take prior to attending the Whole Body Wellness classes.


Better Balance in Six Exercises!

This one-hour class will lead you through six exercises which are some of the foundational ones found in the book Dynamic Aging. This class is designed for those 50-80+ and who have been cleared for exercise.

Dynamic Aging Course

This 4-week course will lead you through all of the exercises found in the book Dynamic Aging.  This course will wake up those sleepy parts of your body and show you how to add more movement into your life. This course is designed for those 50-80+ and who have been cleared for exercise. We will meet twice a week for 4 weeks.
